Ethereum’s NFT dominance drops to 8.3 percent. 5 Ethereum features Cofounder Vitalik Buterin gets excited about. Not just an ordinarily listicle, these five features are things anyone should get excited about. In the future, Ethereum could be banking on DAO-backed stablecoins.
Ledger launches new hardware wallet for NFTs. Why do NFT collectors need a separate wallet? Surely, the company could incorporate NFT support on its already existing wallets. Just upgrade the device and charge more. Of course, it could be more profitable to sell two devices to every customer. Do you think it’s all about the profit?
Crypto.com and Coca-Cola partner on NFTs. Polygon partners with Warner Music on music NFTs.
Decentraland allows game land owners to rent out virtual LAND. It was bound to happen. I don’t know why it hadn’t already happened.
Clue scenario: Mark Zuckerberg killed Facebook with the metaverse in plain view on the Internet. The EU threw a 24-hour metaverse party and no one showed up. Why are companies spending so much money pushing a product no one seems interested in? Meta employees don’t understand the Zuckerberg’s metaverse vision and aren’t even using the product. No other company developing a metaverse seems to be getting traction either, yet the Web3 media is talking it up like its cotton candy at the state fair. Someday, we’ll all wake up and find ourselves in a virtual reality simulation that seems more real than reality and wonder how we got there.

Tea raises $8.9 million for an open-source protocol to help developers get paid. Are developers having trouble getting paid?
NFTs took over Miami at the Art Basel festival. Art Basel is a well-respected international visual arts event. This infusion of Web3 into that world is more significant than bear market statistics are irrelevant.

A Hive user by the name of Crypt0gnome has figured out a way to connect Hive Keychain to a Unity gaming project. According to Unity’s website, more than 50 percent of games across all devices are developed using Unity. That’s not to say that every Unity game developer will connect their project to Hive, but if only 10 percent do so, then Hive could become a thriving gaming community.

Is the world ready for dynamic NFTs? Maybe, but you should pay attention to Investopedia’s NFT tax guide.
10 things I like about Read.Cash.
Noise.Cash has officially come to an end. When I last logged in, the platform asked me if I wanted to migrate all my content and connections to Noise.App. I’ll no longer be posting to Noise.Cash, but to Noise.App, which is by invitation only. Want an invite? Let me know.

3 from Hive:
Is Hive the first network state? A network state is defined by Balaji Srinivasan in his book by that title. First and foremost, it’s an online community, but the interesting thing about Srinivasan’s definition is that it achieves such respectable status as an online community that it is able to crowdfund territory acquisitions through collective action AND gains diplomatic recognition from pre-existing states. As far as I know, Hive has no intention of acquiring physical territory and it certainly has not yet gained diplomatic recognition from any pre-existing state. Nevertheless, the article is an interesting read.
HBD interest payouts for November 2022. The fact that Hive even pays interest on HBD is a good thing. One more reason to use the platform, create content, and move beyond business as usual in content creation.
